As a benefice we are running the Bible Society’s newly updated Bible Course. The 8-week course explores God’s big story by taking us through the whole narrative of the Bible, from Genesis to Revelation. It helps us to get to grips with the Bible’s key themes and confidently apply Scripture to everyday life. Each week will contain high quality videos, discussion questions and Bible study. Handbooks will be provided, and there is a digital hub and daily readings to engage further with the material.

Welcome to St Paul’s, Oadby! Whatever your background or life story we believe that you are precious to God and we look forward to getting to know you better.

St Paul’s longs to be at the heart of our local community and to share the love of Jesus Christ in word and action.

We are a multicultural community of Christians and one of the Leicester diocese's Intercultural Worshipping Communities.

We hold our Sunday morning services at 10.00am each week. On the 1st, 3rd and 5th Sundays of the month we usually have a service of Holy Communion. On the 2nd Sunday of the month, we usually all join together for an "All age - All together" service. The 4th Sunday of the month is usually a traditional Word service. 

Children's work runs alongside our Sunday morning services except the 2nd Sunday of the month when we are "All-together". A youth group meets, usually on the 1st & 4th Sundays, starting with breakfast at 10.00am.

On the 2nd, 4th and 5th Thursdays of the month we hold a midweek communion service at 9.45am in the side chapel. When occurring, the 5th Thursday is a joint service with St Peter's in Oadby.

Safeguarding

The parish of Oadby St Paul’s is committed to the safeguarding of children, young people and adults. We follow the House of Bishops guidance and policies and have our own Parish Safeguarding Officer, (PSO). The Diocese of Leicester’s safeguarding pages contain vital links and information including contacts for the Diocesan Safeguarding Advisor (DSA) who advise our PSO. If you are concerned that a child or adult has been harmed or may be at risk of harm please contact the DSA. If you have immediate concerns about the safety of someone, please contact the police and your local authority Children or Adults Services.

St. Paul’s Church has a robust and effective safeguarding policy and all workers and volunteers in contact with children, young people and vulnerable adults are fully DBS checked and safeguarding trained.
