As part of the Town's Christmasfest the annual Christmas Tree Festival takes place in St Peter's Church. With displays of trees from different groups, organisations, clubs and companies based in the town.

Organised by IGROW the Town's Christmasfest is a winter carnival with fairground rides and stalls and of course Fr Christmas's Grotto, all along the closed off High Street, attracting thousands of people each year. The highlight is the annual turning on of the towns Christmas lights by a local celebrity.

A said service of Holy Communion using the Rite and wording of the 1662 Book of Common Prayer, with a sermon.

Bubble Church is a Sunday church service especially for babies, toddlers, and young families (children aged 8 and under). It's a puppet-packed, Jesus-centred, coffee-and-croissant-fueled, 30 minute kids and families adventure!

A service of Holy Communion is celebrated in St Peter's Church Irthlingborough under social distancing regulations (The service will also be live webcast via our Facebook Page, and available in a recorded format via out website)

An informal Café style Meeting for those who have faced bereavement in their loves.

A Safe space where feeling about loss, bereavement, loneliness, death and funerals can be talked about and shared with others going through a similar experience. Attended by members of or ministry team who lead funerals and representatives of local undertakers. Open to those of all faiths and none.

Evening Prayer shared by folk from all over the benefice from where they are.

Christmas can be joyful, but it can also be sad and indeed painful, for many Christmas can also invoke memories of bereavement, grief, illness, economic worries or loneliness. When the world seems wrapped up in tinsel how do we sing the Lord's Song in a strange land, at a time when the world tells us to be jolly and happy when that is the last think we can or want to feel? The Blue Christmas reflects these Christmas Blues, it says its alright to be sad and to weighed under by the worries of the world. Life was not perfect for the Christ Child either, and so together we reflect through silence, words and music, the sadness Christmas can bring too.

In a united service to say Goodbye to Fr Josh we will combine elements of our Bubble Church Service with carols and a puppet based nativity followed by a celebration cake and light refreshments to bid farewell to our Curate, Fr Josh as he moves to pastures new.
