Organised by IGROW the Town's Christmasfest is a winter carnival with fairground rides and stalls and of course Fr Christmas's Grotto, all along the closed off High Street, attracting thousands of people each year. The highlight is the annual turning on of the towns Christmas lights by a local celebrity.
