Church of England Diocese of London St. Anselm, Hayes

St. Anselm's Parish Church, Hayes Town.

WELCOME TO SAINT ANSELM'S PARISH CHURCH which is situated at the very heart and hub of the community in HAYES TOWN MIDDLESEX, where hundreds of people from all walks of life pass its doors every day. St. Anselm's belongs to the Anglo-Catholic tradition of the Church in the Willesden Episcopal Area of The Diocese of London, and offers Pastoral Care to its parishioners and the wider community. Our doors are open as often as possible to allow and encourage people to enter into the spiritual stillness of this sacred space - pictured. There are 3 stations with kneelers at different shrines inside the church where votive candles can be lit.

As a Parish Church we work closely and sympathetically with local Funeral Directors. We welcome enquiries for RECONCILIATION (Confession), the joyous occasion of BAPTISM, CONFIRMATION, READING THE BANNS OF MARRIAGE and THE SACRAMENT OF HOLY MATRIMONY. Contact can be made to our Parish Priest in church, additionally at the address / telephone number or e-mail on our "get in touch" page.

If this has nurtured you as a family or an individual, then why not venture through our doors to join us for worship, praise, fellowship and mission. For further details please refer to the services and events section on the left, which is regularly updated.

ST. ANSELM'S IS A LIVING CHURCH situated in the heart of Hayes Town. Our Sunday Parish Sung Mass is held at 10:00am. We sing hymns, listen to an old and new testament reading, a psalm and the Gospel with a sermon. Incense is burned, raising our prayers to God in the Beauty of Holiness. EVERYONE at the time of Holy Communion is invited to the Altar Throne Of God to receive the Blessed Sacrament. If you are not a communicant please come forward and stand with your head bowed, you will then receive a personal blessing from the Priest. If you would like to receive communion by becoming a full member of the Anglican Church please discuss Baptism and/or Confirmation preparation with our Parish Priest Fr. Geoffrey who is available at the back of the church after Mass. This will not commit you in any way. After Mass there is tea and coffee served which gives EVERYBODY especially newcomers a unique opportunity to socialise, become known and to discuss any aspect of The Christian Faith with Fr. Geoffrey. There is an area at the back of the Church which is well used by our young worshippers. This is managed by a group of volunteers who give their time during the Eucharist, we are always looking for more parents to become involved in this task, and to supervise projects given to the children. If you feel you can give about 1 hour (1 x 24th - ONE TWENTY FOURTH ) of your day on Sunday it will be greatly appreciated. We warmly welcome single members and families of all denominations here at St Anselm's Church to join in our worship. So shake off dull sloth and joyful rise, to pay the morning sacrifice. An entrance ramp at the front of the Church now makes us disabled friendly.
