It is with both congratulations and sadness that I announce Fr Josiah’s new calling to join the parishes of Stanwell and Ashford.

He has been a valued member of the clergy team here at St Anselm’s Hayes since 2022, and we’ll be sad to see him and his family leave us to move on to pastures new – or to be more accurate, to return to the parishes where Fr Josiah’s ministry in this country began.

Fr Josiah’s licensing in Stanwell and Ashford will be on Saturday 15th August, and his last Sunday at St Anselm’s will be on 9th August.

Please hold Fr Josiah and his family in your prayers and pray also for Fr Stuart and the people of Stanwell and Ashford as they prepare to welcome Fr Josiah’s return.

Pray, too, for St Anselm’s as we say goodbye and begin to adjust to life and ministry without Fr Josiah, Gertrude, Emmanuel, Josiah jnr and Efi.

Finally, I thank Fr Josiah personally for his work in our parish and wish him happiness and success in his new parishes.
