A lively, fun-filled hour for boys and girls of primary school age. With games, activities and some teaching about Jesus and the Christian faith.

Part of the Office of the Hours, which has its roots in the monastic tradition. It is a quiet, simple service of psalms, prayers and a short bible reading.

This takes place in the Lady Chapel and is a quiet, simple celebration of the Eucharist without incense or music.

This mass celebrates the institution of the Eucharist. The gospel reading is the narrative of the Last Supper when Jesus washed the feet of his disciples. We will wash the feet of some of the congregation as a vivid reminder of Jesus's great act of humility and service. After the service there will be a vigil until midnight, in the presence of the holy sacrament, remembering the arrest of Jesus in the Garden of Gethsemane and the beginning of his passion.

This is the most solemn day in the Christian calendar, when we remember Jesus's agony on the cross for our salvation. For the first two hours from 1200-1400, the church will be open for any to come and sit quietly in prayer and contemplation, or to join in the stations of the cross. The final hour, from 1400-1500, is the formal liturgy, which will include an opportunity to venerate the cross and to receive the body of Christ from the reserved sacrament.

Our service will start with the blessing of the new fire and the lighting of the paschal candle. The liturgy for Holy Saturday takes us through the whole arc of our salvation from the creation of the world, through the witness of Abraham, the children of Israel's escape from slavery in Egypt, the prophesies of the prophets, and on to the glorious mystery of the resurrection. Then we will renew our baptismal promises and celebrate the first mass of Easter.
