Good Friday - Music and Reflections at the Foot of the Cross

Occurring
for 1 hour
Venue
Cold Ash: St Mark
Address
Cold Ash Hill Cold Ash Thatcham, RG18 9PT, United Kingdom

You are warmly invited to join us for a quiet and reflective service on Good Friday as we gather at the foot of the cross.

Through a sequence of classical music and reflective readings, we will take time to pause with the story of Jesus’ final hours and the depth of love revealed in his suffering. The music and words together create space for prayer, stillness, and contemplation as we mark this important day in the Christian calendar.

Whether church is a familiar place for you or somewhere you are exploring, you are very welcome. All are invited to come and share in this time of reflection as we remember the story of Good Friday and hold its meaning together.

Safeguarding

The parish of Cold Ash is committed to the safeguarding of children, young people and adults. We follow the House of Bishops guidance and policies and have our own Parish Safeguarding Officer(s), PSOs. The Diocese of Oxford’s safeguarding pages contain vital links and information including contacts for the Diocesan Safeguarding Advisor (DSA) who advise our PSOs. If you are concerned that a child or adult has been harmed or may be at risk of harm please contact the DSA. If you have immediate concerns about the safety of someone, please contact the police and your local authority Children or Adults Services
