East Hendred: St Augustine of Canterbury

The Church of England in the village of East Hendred, Oxfordshire. All are welcome to join our friendly community for services. Contact the Rector for any queries or if you would like to receive our newsletter with information about upcoming events: [email protected]

We want to be a family-friendly church. We recognise that bringing your children to church is no mean feat. We welcome the sight and sound of children and young people among us. We ask every member of the congregation to take responsibility for creating a welcoming atmosphere. We recognise that how we do things may need to change in order to engage children, young people, and families in a way that reflects their contributions and needs.

East Hendred: St Augustine of Canterbury
Church Street East Hendred Wantage, OX12 8LA, United Kingdom

A sung communion service at St Augustine's. The service is in modern English, with a sermon. Refreshments are served in church afterwards - everyone is welcome. On other Sundays there is Holy Communion in West Hendred at 9:30am and in Ardington at 11am.

Yesterday we began a series which will continue over the coming weeks, delving into the Commandments to see what ancient treasures we might find hidden there. If you missed the first instalment, you can read a transcript of Nikolaj's sermon below.
