Church of England Diocese of Chichester Battle

St Mary’s Battle

Welcome to St Mary's Battle which is a Grade 1 Listed church of national historic importance, in the heart of Battle and 1066 country. It's a place of regular worship and community involvement with a history of almost 1000 years. As the parish and civic centre church we are at the heart and life of all that goes on in Battle and look forward to welcoming you.

On a Sunday we have a 9.30am Parish Communion using Common Worship, an 11.15am Informal Service with Children’s Church and a 6.30pm Choral Evensong every other week. Do come and join us.

Lee Duckett - Dean of Battle

The parish of Battle: St Mary the Virgin is committed to the safeguarding of children, young people and adults. We follow the House of Bishops guidance and policies and have our own Parish Safeguarding Officer(s), PSOs. The Diocese of Chichester’s safeguarding pages contain vital links and information including contacts for the Diocesan Safeguarding Advisor (DSA) who advise our PSOs. If you are concerned that a child or adult has been harmed or may be at risk of harm please contact the DSA. If you have immediate concerns about the safety of someone, please contact the police and your local authority Children or Adults Services
