St Mary the Virgin
Welcome to St Mary's Battle which is a Grade 1 Listed church of national historic importance in the heart of Battle and 1066 country. It's a place of regular worship and community involvement with a history of almost 1000 years. As the parish and civic centre church we are at the heart and life of all that goes on in Battle and look forward to welcoming you.
Our services normally range from the 8.00am Book of Common Prayer, 9.30am Parish Communion using Common Worship, 11.00am Informal Service and 6.30pm Choral Evensong. Due to the current COVID-19 restrictions we are currently only open for public worship at the 9.30am Parish Communion. We are following the government and Chichester Diocese guidance on enabling public worship to continue at this time.
