Accessibility
In our Benedicta Whistler Centre, adjoining the church there are several toilets and 2 are easily accessible and suitable for wheelchair users.

Parking is available for all church and hall users
There are 3 spaces reserved for those who use blue badges
Our Building
As well as many treasured and ancient stained glass windows, we also have the Senlac Window, dedicated in 1984 and the only stained glass window in the world depicting the Battle of Hastings
The church is open every day, generally from 9am until dusk and you are most welcome to come and look around, pray or light a candle.
Grade 1 listed building
We have won our Gold Award for the churchyard and are working towards our Gold Award in the actual church building. We are always looking for eager helpers in the churchyard and community garden which supplies the Foodbank with fresh fruit and vegetables.
Music and Worship
We have a great bellringing team and do get in touch if you would like to find out more and join them.
At Church of the Ascension, Telham on Sundays at 10am & Choral Evensong at St Mary's on the 1st and 3rd Sundays at 6pm.
Do contact the church office if you’d like to join the choir who are very friendly and have regular social events
Groups, Courses and Activities

We run Alpha at St Mary's - a great opportunity to explore the meaning of life.
Free of charge, great food and a chance to make good friends.
We have a wonderful Mothers Union group and they warmly welcome new members. Do get in touch if you'd like to come along one day
Busy Bees runs on Wednesdays during term time in the church hall. Booking is on Eventbrite.co.uk and it's a wonderful group for 0-4's
Help for Visitors
St Mary's is open every day from 9am - dusk
Other Features
Our Foodbank is open on a Wednesday from 1 - 3pm for those in need. Contact the church office if you’d like to volunteer. (Sorting and packing happens on a Tuesday between 10 & 12)
