Morning prayer from the Book of Common Prayer
Every second Sunday of the month the main morning service is either at Burwash Weald or at Etchingham.
Our group grows and grows. We have recently welcomed three new ladies from Etchingham.
The church is next to the OFSTED 'outstanding' primary school. Children drop in to the church on their way to school for a drink, biscuits and a chat. Having left their children at school, parents, carers and toddlers can then come back in for coffee and a snack. Lots of Mums and Dads enjoy this, and the Tuesday Drop-In is often an initial step into the church and has led on to baptisms and participation in the life of the church.

This is a shortened Sung Eucharist suitable for all ages but especially intended to encourage young families.

Toddlers through to Year 6. Crafts, games, stories and song. Tea, coffee, juice and cake!
May not occur every month, especially in the school holidays.

When there is a fifth Sunday of the month, Burwash Weald, Burwash and Etchingham combine in St Bartholomew's for a United Benefice Eucharist service. Please check the magazine and this website.
Sung Eucharist.
The service on the 5th Sunday, when there is one, is a United Benefice celebration at St Bartholomew, Burwash. There could be exceptions, for example on Remembrance Sunday. Please watch the listing in the magazines and on this website.

Tongswood is a choir of 25 voices, singing a wide range of a cappella classical music to a high standard all over East Sussex and Kent. The summer concert normally majors on folk songs with an occasional sea shanty for audience participation.
