Choir is in full swing. They often join up with the other benefice churches to make a fine United Choir.
Common Worship.
Our group has been meeting in the church every week for some years and we have a core group of just over 20 ladies and gentlemen.
The church is next to the OFSTED 'outstanding' primary school. Children drop in to the church on their way to school for a drink, biscuits and a chat. Having left their children at school, parents, carers and toddlers can then come back in for coffee and a snack. Lots of Mums and Dads enjoy this, and the Tuesday Drop-In is often an initial step into the church and has led on to baptisms and participation in the life of the church.
Only during term-time, of course!
From 6 September 2022, the new Parent & Toddler Group will meet in the Swan Meadow Sports Hall on Tuesdays. The Rector, Revd. Thomas, will lead it (and his son Freddie will be there!).

Meet at Bowzell, 3 Garston Park. An hour of fellowship, friendship, fun and laughter.
The last 10 minutes will for prayer if you'd like that: a time of silent and spoken prayer or reflection.
Please do not feel that you have to actively take part in this part of the meeting. Those who wish to say a prayer are welcome to do so, otherwise we can have a few minutes of silent prayer or reflection.

Traditional Holy Communion from the prayer book
This is a shortened Sung Eucharist suitable for all ages but especially intended to encourage young families and to take their worship further than the Family Service held on the first Sunday of each month.
Occasionally the pattern of services may vary, for example at Easter and Christmas.
Sung Eucharist.
The service on the second Sunday of each month is usually a United Benefice celebration, at one of our three churches in rotation - St Philip's Burwash Common at 10.30; St Nicolas Etchingham at 11.00; St Bartholomew's Burwash 10.00. There could well be exceptions to the rotation, for example on Remembrance Sunday. Please watch the listing in the magazines and on this website.

Reflection and meditation on the 4th Thursday of the month.
Messy / fun church....
Toddlers through to Year 6. Crafts, games, stories and song. Tea, coffee, juice and cake!
May not occur every month, especially in the school holidays.
A friendly service with singing and laughter, designed to be enjoyed by all ages but especially meant to encourage children.
Occasionally this service is moved to another Sunday, for example Mothering Sunday.
