Greatham Parish Church

Welcome to Greatham Parish Church, a place of peace and prayer over the centuries and a living church community today.  The church is normally open daily for visitors.

We are delighted that services in church have resumed, but we may continue to hold services in the churchyard in fine weather.

Our regular service pattern is 9am Holy Communion on 2nd Sunday and 9am Morning Prayer (Matins) on 4th Sunday of the month, from the Book of Common Prayer.

We continue to provide prayers and reflections by weekly email: please contact Revd Gerry Burgess to be added to the list.

SAFEGUARDING: We are committed to the safeguarding of children, young people and adults. We follow the House of Bishops guidance and policies and have our own Parish Safeguarding Officer. You may also wish to visit The Diocese of Chichester’s safeguarding pages if you have a concern: https://safeguarding.chichester.anglican.org.

Safeguarding

"Our parish of Greatham is committed to safeguarding children, young people and adults from harm. We follow the House of Bishops guidance and policies and have a Parish Safeguarding Officer (PSO) shared with Amberley. Our Diocese of Chichester’s safeguarding pages contain vital links and information including contacts for the Diocesan Safeguarding Advisor who advises our PSO. If you are concerned that a child or adult has been harmed or may be at risk of harm please contact the PSO or the Diocesan Safeguarding Advisor. If you have immediate concerns about the safety of someone, please contact the police and your local authority’s children or adult social care services."
