Church of England Diocese of Leeds Skipton

Holy Trinity, Skipton

Welcome to Holy Trinity, "the Parish Church at the top of the High Street" - an ancient church which has occupied this site for hundreds of years, as a beacon to the longevity of Christian faith in the town.

We look forward to reopening the church for individual private prayer soon, and are working to ensure that it will be safe to do so for both visitors and our stewards. Similarly, while churches are permitted to recommence services from 5th July, we will not do so until we have clarity on the restrictions that will be in place and have taken the necessary precautions. In the meantime you can watch our services on Youtube at

We are also on Facebook at

The parish of Holy Trinity, Skipton, is committed to the safeguarding of children, young people and adults. We follow the House of Bishops guidance and policies and have our own Parish Safeguarding Officer(s), PSOs. The Diocese of Leeds’s safeguarding pages contain vital links and information including contacts for the Diocesan Safeguarding Advisor (DSA) who advise our PSOs. If you are concerned that a child or adult has been harmed or may be at risk of harm please contact the DSA. If you have immediate concerns about the safety of someone, please contact the police and your local authority Children or Adults Services.
