About Us

Welcome to St Mary de Haura, New Shoreham.

With a heritage dating back over 900 years, St Mary de Haura stands at the heart of Shoreham-by-Sea, both spiritually and physically. We are open 7 days a week (currently 10am-3pm), for visitors to enjoy the peace and tranquillity of the church building.

We are also a thriving, diverse congregation who offer a warm and inclusive welcome. For details of what's on at St Mary's and to view our currently weekly newsletter, please visit: http://www.stmarydehaura.org.uk.

Services usually follow the pattern of celebrating Eucharist on Sundays at 8am & 10am and then Tuesday 11am.

There is Evening Prayer each Sunday at 6pm, except the 1st of each month where Teatime Worship is held at 4pm.

There is a Julian Prayer meeting held alternate Monday evenings & a weekly Moring Prayer with Meditation at 8am on Fridays.

Newcomers are welcome.

Please also check out St Mary de Haura Children and Families.

Teatime Worship is celebrated each 1st Sunday afternoon of the month at 4pm.  SHINE gathers the families (children 0-13years old, 6yo & under to be accompanied by an adult) for a Sunday school, in our nearby hall before regathering for Eucharist each 2nd & 4th Sunday of the month.  SHINE typically includes stories, crafts and other fun things and takes place during the 10am service, but bringing everyone together in St Mary's for Communion.
