This fabulous annual festival combines a feat of activity - as people use feet, wheels and more to visit many churches on the same day - with the feat of hosting those arriving with refreshment and encouragement before they set out on their next leg. There are many churches are involved, so participants connect their own routes.

Ride + Stride is the single largest source of income for many Historic Churches Trusts enabling them to make Grants to places of Christian worship. The funds raised can be split between the nominated Trust and the participants chosen church or chapel. See more at https://ridestride.org/

St Mary de Haura

Welcome to St Mary de Haura, New Shoreham.

With a heritage dating back over 900 years, St Mary de Haura stands at the heart of Shoreham-by-Sea, both spiritually and physically. We are open all day, 7 days a week between 10am and 3pm, for visitors to enjoy the peace and tranquillity of the church building.

Our children's group, SHINE, is open to all children, from 0-11 years old.  This is on 2nd & 4th Sundays in St Mary's Hall, during the 10am Sunday service.

Our parish of New Shoreham: St Mary de Haura is committed to safeguarding children, young people and adults from harm.
