The Service of Remembrance is held each year in St Mary de Haura and starts at 10am. The congregation progress from the church, to convene at the War Memorial before 11am to share the civic recognition of sacrifice. The service and Parade involve many civic bodies, current service members, individuals & families, youth groups and others wishing to show their recognition.

Please note that the usual 10am Eucharist will follow the Service of Remembrance, at approx. 11.30am.

With a heritage dating back over 900 years, St Mary de Haura stands at the heart of Shoreham-by-Sea, both spiritually and physically. We are open all day, 7 days a week between 10am and 3pm, for visitors to enjoy the peace and tranquillity of the church building.

Our children's group, SHINE, is open to all children, from 0-11 years old.  This is on 2nd & 4th Sundays in St Mary's Hall, during the 10am Sunday service.
