St Mary's Church, Slaugham
Welcome to St Mary's Slaugham part of the wider United Benefice of Slaugham and Staplefield Common. The site of St Mary's at Slaugham has been a centre of christian worship for at least 950 years. Under current coronavirus restrictions the church building is still open for private prayer but most of our services are taking place online or at St Mark's, Staplefield. Please see the events pages for details of services.
The parish of St Mary's Slaugham is committed to the safeguarding of children, young people and adults. We follow the House of Bishops guidance and policies and have our own Parish Safeguarding Officer(s), PSOs. The Diocese of Chichester’s safeguarding pages contain vital links and information including contacts for the Diocesan Safeguarding Advisor (DSA) who advise our PSOs. If you are concerned that a child or adult has been harmed or may be at risk of harm please contact the DSA. If you have immediate concerns about the safety of someone, please contact the police and your local authority Children or Adults Services. Further details are available on the Safeguarding page of our main website.
