Opening

The church building is usually open to the public every day between 9.30am and 6.00pm (or dusk if earlier).

Getting here

St Mary's is best accessed by car either via Staplefield or from Handcross. The Slaugham turn-off from the A23 is now permanently closed but the village can still be accessed from the A23 from either the Warninglid or Handcross junctions.

There is some parking available directly in front of the main church building and on road parking in Slaugham village itself. Although usually adequate for Sunday services we'd recommend car-sharing as much as possible to minimise the effect on local residents particularly for major festivals or special events.

Slaugham has no active bus services but there are fairly regular services through both Staplefield and Handcross. Both villages are within about 20 minutes walking time of Slaugham
