Our Building

The window above the font was designed by acclaimed Pre Raphaelite Edward Burne Jones, depicting Christ among the children. Mark 10: 13-16

Our church is opened every day at around 9am and closes at dusk, for private prayer.

The oldest part of our Grade 1 listed building is the tower, which dates from the early 1100s, whilst most of the church dates from the 13th and 14th centuries.

We already have bronze eco church, but have our eyes firmly set on getting Gold Eco Church

Groups, Courses and Activities

We hold J Club after school on Tuesday. There are snacks, games, Bible stories and everyone has a good time.

We offer Alpha Courses to help people explore their Christian journey.

Homegroups are the bedrock of our churches. They provide a forum for members to share fellowship, study God's word, pray together, and encourage each other on the journey of discipleship.

Our Pastoral Care team provide support to people in Wadhurst.

CAMEO
Come and meet other people Wadhurst's lunch club for older residents.

Run entirely by volunteers, the club meets every Wednesday at the Commemoration Hall from 11-3pm.

The members enjoy morning coffee, a two-course home-cooked hot lunch and afternoon tea with planned and volunteer-led activities.

The atmosphere is friendly, convivial, caring and fun.
Lifts to and from can be arranged.

Jellybeans is a local baby and toddler group held in Wadhurst Church.

Our aim is to be a relaxed and welcoming group, where children, any parents, and carers can feel valued.

We use bible stories during story time, and some songs have a Christian theme.

We meet 9:30 to 11ish am on Thursday mornings during term time.

We have a new youth group for young people in school year 6 and above.

We run some of our own events and social activities and there are opportunities to get involved in other trips and activities such as Tunbridge Wells Youth For Christ events such as Unite in the Wild and the Noise Project (youth social action project during the first week of the Easter holidays). We also take part in Sussex wide youth events such as May Camp at Plumpton Racecourse (booking for 2024 is already available).
