Happy Memories in Wadhurst Church

Wadhurst Church has been the heart of the community for over 900 years. It has been the principal place where villagers have come together to meet, celebrate, remember and worship.

Right now, the church is being restored and reordered to provide a warm, inviting and flexible space, not only for ongoing worship, but also for cultural and community activities. The restoration of Wadhurst Church offers a unique opportunity to thank God for something important to you.

We are inviting people in Wadhurst to complete the "In memory of” box in the Remembering pamphlet, which you can pick up at Carillon Cottage or message / email the church and we will send you a copy.

You can write the name of someone special, or say what you are particularly thankful to God for.Once you have completed the “box” could you bring the pamphlet back to Carillon Cottage Thursday

Your contributions will be placed under the new floor of the church, before it is laid next week. In future, when we come into church we will have a sense of being surrounded by the memories of people and moments that have marked our lives.

If people wish to make a donation for the repair and reordering the church that would be appreciated but is not required, there is a QR code on the pamphlet.
