Mothering Sunday

Occuring
for 1 hour
Venue
St Peter & St Paul
Address
Off B2099 Wadhurst, TN5, United Kingdom

During this service, we will celebrate and giving thanks for the huge impact mothers have on all of our lives. Flowers are blessed and handed out to not only all Mums, Grannys, Aunties, but also the men. Because we recognise that everyone has a mothering role.

We recognise that this day may be difficult for some people and so we will include prayers for those who don’t find the day particularly easy.

St Peter & St Paul

Using the gifts God gives us, we bring others to Christ, deepen our faith in Him, develop the life of the church family, serve each other and the wider community and so express our worship to God in every part of life.

We are an Anglican church in the 'open evangelical' tradition. We welcome anyone who would answer 'yes' to the question 'do you want to follow Jesus?', and anyone who might just be interested in finding out more.

Safeguarding

Our parish of Wadhurst: St Peter & St Paul is committed to safeguarding children, young people and adults from harm. We follow the House of Bishops guidance and policies and have our own Parish Safeguarding Officer (PSO). This is Dominic Bolas.

Our Diocese of Chichester’s safeguarding pages contain vital links and information including contacts for the Diocesan Safeguarding Advisor who advises our PSO.

If you are concerned that a child or adult has been harmed or may be at risk of harm please contact the PSO or the Diocesan Safeguarding Advisor.

If you have immediate concerns about the safety of someone, please contact the police and your local authority’s children or adult social care services.
