Archdeacon Tom's visit yesterday We are grateful to the Archdeacon of Chichester for celebrating Mass and attending the PCC meeting yesterday. Fr Tom reiterated Bishop Martin's good news and the Diocese's commitment to interviewing in the foreseeable future. Updates will be shared with you all in due course. Please keep in your prayers all those involved in recruiting and interviewing at this time.Benefits of being on the Electoral RollWith the Annual Parochial Church Meeting (APCM) fast approaching on Sunday 19th April, you may like to join St Andrew's Electoral Roll.Please bear in mind that being on the Electoral Roll does not make you a 'member' of the Church. Simply regarding St Andrew's as your spiritual home does that.However, joining the Roll is compulsory if you wish to:stand for election to the Parish Church Council (PCC) or other synodical council (such as the Deanery, Diocesan or General Synod);attend the APCM and participate in votes.If you are thinking of taking a more active role in the life of our church, please take an Electoral Roll form from the back of the church.Lent Appeal 2026The PCC are happy to support St Andrew School's Ecuador Campaign this year as well. A group of students will travel this year to Ecuador to gain important skills while working with disadvantaged communities. Thank you for your generosity of spirit.Lent Course 2026 with Fr Peter Kane starts Friday 27th February after Said MassFor our Lent Course this year we will be using the material provided by the diocese and which links into the diocesan Year of Matthew. Sessions will focus on particular aspects of Matthew's Gospel: the infancy narratives of Jesus, Jesus' calling of disciples, his authority as a teacher, his miracles and his Passion. We meet after Friday Mass on 27th Feb, and 6th, 13th, 20th & 27th March. Please bring a Bible. Nicholas Ryder's funeral will take place on Monday 23rd February at 11am, followed by refreshments in the Hall. The family hope you can attend.
