Holy Saturday - Easter Vigil and First Mass of Easter

Occuring
for 1 hour, 15 mins
Venue
St Andrew the Apostle, Worthing
Address
Victoria Rd/Clifton Rd Worthing, BN11 1XB, United Kingdom

Join us for this amazing liturgy. At 8.00pm we will gather outside a darkened church where the new fire will be lit and the Easter Candle is kindled. This powerful symbol of the risen Lord is carried into church penetrating the darkness. The Easter "Exultet" is sung and the Easter Vigil begins. After the last vigil reading, bells are rung to announce the "Return" of the Gloria, and our Easter celebrations begin, as we celebrate the glorious Resurrection of our Lord Jesus Christ.

St Andrew the Apostle, Worthing

We welcome you to join us for our Sunday Parish Mass on Sunday at 10.30am in our beautiful church.  The service lasts approximately 1 hour. There is an area for children to play with the supervision of a parent or guardian. Refreshments are served after the Mass.

During the week we have two celebrations of Mass on Tuesday and Friday. Both midweek celebrations begin at 10.30am and last approximately 30 minutes.
