You are very welcome at our Advent and Christmas services and events – bring your family and friends or come along on your own. Whether it will be your first time at church or you have been before, we look forward to welcoming you!

All events Calendar Advent & Christmas

We usually meet every Sunday at 11.00am in Church for either Holy Communion or Morning Worship. Our Sunday morning services have crafts for children, and are followed by free tea / coffee and biscuits. We have modern toilet and baby change facilities, and there is no 'dress code'. We have a new heating system, so you can be assured of a warm welcome, whatever the weather! It's usually possible to park on Melton Road in front of the church on Sunday mornings. Everybody is welcome!

Service of Nine Lessons and Carols (Traditional Carol Service)

All welcome to join us for our popular traditional Carol Service. With well-known carols, accompanied by the church organ and by Thurmaston Scout & Guide Band. Do stay afterwards for a glass of mulled wine / juice and a festive mince pie. We have modern toilet facilities in Church, and with a new heating system now in place, you are assured of a very warm welcome this year - whatever the weather!

The Children's Society desribe Christingle as "a joyful celebration that brings families and communities together to share the light of Jesus and spread a message of hope". We do hope that you will be able to join us for this popular annual Christmas service, which is particulary popular with children and families.
