All are welcome to join the annual Remembrance Sunday Parade Service. The Act of Remembrance is held at the War Memorial, in front of Thurmaston Memorial Hall on Melton Road, Thurmaston, and includes the reading of the names of the fallen, the laying of wreaths, Last Post, silence, and Reveille, concluding with the National Anthem. This event is organised by Thurmaston Parish Council; with support from Thurmaston Branch Royal British Legion; Thurmaston Scouts & Guides; St Michael's, Thurmaston; and many other village organisations. We will remember them.
