Opening

Fourth Saturday of the month from Easter to end of October 9am to 4pm

Getting here

The village of Narford has almost disappeared through various clearances over the centuries. The Parish Church of St Mary the Virgin stands a little way from the road and close to Narford Hall, the seat of the Fountaine family since the 17th century. Arrangements to view the church can be made with the Rector of the Nar Valley Group of Churches c/o The Church Centre, Narborough - 01760 338562. The church is plain inside but has an interesting double sedilla and Easter sepulchre. The church and churchyard are reached along the 'church way' to the west of Narford Hall park grounds.

Morning Prayer (BCP) is said on the fourth Saturday of the month at 9am from the Saturday after Easter to the end of September

If you have had any previous connection with, or a love of, St Mary The Virgin Church then we invite you to help the congregation to retain this building for future years.

Donations may be sent to the Church Treasurer – Mrs Susan Nairn, 20 Hillside., Swaffham, Norfolk, PE37 7QU
