Forest Church is a place for people to gather together, outside and to connect with God's creation. For all ages - everyone is welcome.
In our Emmaus gathering, once a month we're going to make space to look for God in the unexpected. This might mean in a more silent contemplative style of gathering, or it might be around a campfire wondering at nature, or in the voices of the marginalized.
Our gathering probably won't look the same each month, but each will have the common thread of looking for God along the road, and along side each other. And we'll be basing it around these core values:
1. Being together
2. Being open to try new things
3. Commitment to being Interactive
4. Being prayerful
5. Sung worship
6. Commitment to creativity
7. Accessible, all have the possibility to engage whether lots of faith or none.
To help those who are struggling with the cost of living crisis, with home and personal cleaning products. Come along and take what you need for yourself and your family. Take 'em, Give 'em, Swap 'em.
A place to relax and be calm. Bring friends and make friends.
A traditional service suitable for the whole family.
A quiet reflective service with hymns, readings and prayers.
A traditional service for all ages.
A traditional Communion service with readings, prayer, sung worship and holy communion.
At the heart of our worship is the 'Word of God' as we listen to two bible readings and then a sermon.
Lego Church happens on a 5th Sunday at 10am. Plenty of Lego is on hand and when families first arrive they can make whatever they like.
Within each session is a Bible story and an invitation to imagine what it would have been like to be there when it happened.
Families can then return to their tables with the challenge of trying to build something to represent what the story says to them.
Please note that there isn't Lego Church on 31st March 2024 which is Easter Sunday but also a 5th Sunday. There is Lego Church on Good Friday 29th March 2024 instead.
We have Zoom Services every 5th Sunday in the month unless otherwise stated.
