Ringland: future services/events at St Peter’s:

Saturday 30th July Hexachordia return! 6.00pm : the Food of Love.

Christian Aid Week is ends today. Thank you to everyone who distributed envelopes this year. Envelopes can still be returned to the addresses on them. Christian Aid’s ongoing work helps the very poorest people in the world.

Deanery Ascension Day Service will be at St Ed’s on Thursday 26th May at 7.30pm. It will be a service of Holy Communion. Everyone is welcome for this service with members of other churches in the Deanery.

Trinity Treasurer the Treasurer for Trinity Church, Thorpe Marriott, is stepping down. The church members will still deal with the cash each week, but have asked if anyone might like to volunteer to help by collating the figures, preparing spreadsheets and monitoring the finances. Please let Rev Paul or John Morgan of Trinity know.

Ukraine

As part of our response to the crisis we are meeting in St Ed's every weekday morning to pray, 8.45am to 9.15am. Everyone welcome.

Hexachordia will play The Food of Love, music in the plays of William Shakespeare, at St Peter’s Ringland on Saturday 30th July.

Queen’s Jubilee At St Ed’s we will be holding :

· A Jubilee Plant stall from 10.00am on Thursday 2nd June and over the Jubilee weekend. Please buy and donate house plants, flowers, vegetable seedlings, and tomato plants.

· A service of celebration and thanksgiving on Friday 3rd June at 11.15am, followed by a sausage roll lunch. If you would like to bring sausage rolls or chutneys or salad, please sign up at the back of church.

· We will have souvenir copies of ‘Our Faithful Queen’ for sale at £1 each
