8.00 a.m. Low Mass (in the Lady Chapel)
9.30 a.m. SUNG MASS: This Mass combines traditional Catholic worship, thoughtful Gospel preaching, moving choral music, and enthusiastic congregational hymn singing. It draws people, not just from within our actual parish, but also from beyond the parish boundaries.
If you don’t have a church of your own, or if you’ve more or less just drifted away over the years, WE WOULD REALLY LOVE TO WELCOME YOU to this 9.30 Sunday morning Mass at All Saints’. It doesn’t matter if you don’t know anyone else here - you soon will!
On most Sunday mornings during school term, in connection with the 9.30 Mass, our CHILDREN’S MINISTRY TEAM runs a programme for children in two groups, ages 3-7, and ages 8-11. The children come into church for the start of Mass. During the Kyrie & Gloria they have their own procession out of church to the Vicarage for their Ministry of the Word. Then they return during the Offertory Hymn. If you would like to find out more about this, contact the leaders of our CHILDREN'S MINISTRY, Lewis and Lizzie Owens, on 07510 072209 or by email: [email protected]
6.00 p.m. Evening Prayer (in the Lady Chapel)
WEEKDAY MASSES: Each day, usually in the Lady Chapel, clusters of All Saints' people offer the Sacrifice of Jesus to praise and glorify the Father in the power of the Holy Spirit. This is done on behalf of the entire parish community in order lovingly to sanctify our corner of the world.
It is how we enter into the intercessory ministry of Jesus, our great High Priest, joining to his perfect Sacrifice the prayers we offer for our families, friends, neighbours, and those with whom we work, especially when they are in great need of God’s help and healing.
Occasionally, in the unavoidable absence of the clergy, a Lay Reader or Churchwarden will lead Morning Prayer or Evening Prayer at the normal time of that day’s Mass.
Please telephone or email Father David (or one of the Churchwardens) details of intercessions or emergencies you would like included in the prayers at Mass on any given day, whether or not you are able to be present.
