We are so excited to have just completed time our fifth 'Hope in the Summer' project. We distributed hampers, fresh fruit and veg and vouchers to 31 families identified as in need of support this summer. Prayer requests were also collected from some recipients during the delivery process which was a real blessing to both church communities. Prayers for peace, protection, health and family members figured most.

Our thanks go to those in the churches, pre schools and the Family support worker attached to our federated schools for aiding this process.

With the support from Hinckley Area Food Bank, an ASDA Community grant and the Parish Council all our material needs were fulfilled.

We give thanks for:

all of the arrangements that came together and that everything was in place at the right time;

the sufficient & efficient volunteers who packed and delivered hampers et al, in July;

the families, that are hopefully blessed by what they received and that they feel God's love and hope this summer;

the ASDA Community grant, Sapcote Parish Council & Hinckley Area Food Bank.
