A service of Remembrance led by Sheila Grice with prayers from Gwynne Jones at the War Memorial, Church Street Sapcote featuring a two minute silence at 11am.
This will be followed by table served refreshments in All Saints Church & Church Hall.
There will also be a display of stories and pictures of some Sapcote villagers who were involved in both WW1 & WW2.

THE BIG QUIZ

Following a very successful evening of fun, fellowship, fundraising and quizzing last year, All Saints Church are hosting another Tear Fund Big Quiz Night in All Saints Church Hall. This is a national event with many churches around the country joining in to raise money for this wonderful Christian charity. Entry costs will be £5 per person ( pay on the night) and there will be a further chance to donate to Tear Fund during the quiz. Teams can consist of 2- 4 people. Light refreshments will be served during the evening and you may bring your own alcoholic beverages if you wish.

November's United Benefice Communion Service

This is the ONLY service in our group of three churches this Sunday and takes place at St Helens Church Sharnford.
The service starts at 10.00am. The administration of communion will involve use of the common cup.
Rev Jo Hover will lead and Gwynne Jones preach.
Refreshments will be served following the service during a time of fellowship.

Light Parade

This is a joint Messy Church venture between the two village churches and features a musical accompanied light parade between the churches of Sapcote Methodists and All Saints.
Bring a homemade lantern to Sapcote Methodist Church or make one as part of the craft activities available there. Refreshments will also be served here.
The lanterns are then paraded through part of the village ending up at All Saints where a short Christmas message will be given by Rev. Jo Hover. The event ends with a hot chocolate and small gift.

Christingle

A wonderful time for all the family, the service is based on the Children's Society service, complete with the Christingle fruit for every child. All the lights are child friendly and perhaps we'll sing 'Away in a manger' in the candle light? The service is lead by Jim Matthews, one of our our Messy Church leaders.
