St Peter's, Glenfield
St Peter's is a welcoming and worshipping community based at the heart of Glenfield. We aim to fulfil Jesus' commandments to love God and to love and serve our neighbours and our neighbourhood. We're here to share the good news of Jesus' death and resurrection and the new life he offers with God.
We meet regularly on Sundays to worship - including a very Messy Church once a month - and have a variety of other events going on, from Alpha to find out more about Jesus and Christian faith, to a regular lunch for those who live alone.
The parish of St Peter's, Glenfield, is committed to the safeguarding of children, young people and adults. We follow the House of Bishops guidance and policies and have our own Parish Safeguarding Officer, PSO. The Diocese of Leicester’s safeguarding pages contain vital links and information including contacts for the Diocesan Safeguarding Advisor (DSA) who advise our PSO. If you are concerned that a child or adult has been harmed or may be at risk of harm please contact the DSA. If you have immediate concerns about the safety of someone, please contact the police and your local authority Children or Adults Services. For details see our Safeguarding page.
