The Dawn Vigil at St Paul’s Church is a powerful and symbolic beginning to the celebration of Easter. Gathering early at 5:30am, we come together in the quiet darkness as a fire is lit, burning the wood as a sign of light overcoming darkness. During this time, we pray and reflect as we wait for the sunrise, marking the hope and new life that Easter brings. As the light grows, we move into the church for the communion service, where baptisms take place, celebrating renewal, faith, and new beginnings. It is a deeply meaningful and uplifting experience, and all are warmly welcome to share in this special time, there will be a breakfast following this service.
