Welcome to St John the Baptist, which together with St Peter’s and St Margaret’s churches form the parish of Caversham Thameside and Mapledurham. There are details of our services and events here and on our parish website, ctmparish.org.uk.
We are a diverse family of all ages and backgrounds who love Jesus and are trying to follow him and to become more like him. We have a growing youth, children and families ministry and we have a heart to engage with our wider community. Our service style is a mix of traditional and contemporary worship and we enjoy community events, especially ones with food! You are very welcome to join with us.
Our parish of Caversham Thameside and Mapledurham is committed to safeguarding children, young people and adults from harm. We follow the House of Bishops guidance and policies and have our own Parish Safeguarding Officer (PSO).
