We are looking for someone who will make a major contribution to the future growth, development and financial sustainability of the Cathedral. In the light of the Covid-19 pandemic this will require imagination, an ability to learn quickly and get inside the world of an English cathedral in the north of England. There will be a need to hit the ground running. You will be picking up work that has been set in motion already and we are constantly seeking new funding for our posts and projects. There is a real possibility that a major project might be around the corner. This post is funded by a grant from the Church Commissioners that aims to make the cathedral self-sustaining and to that end there will be an expectation that this post will pay for itself within two years.
