Classical pianist, Mauro Bertolino, comes to Bradford Cathedral all the way from Turin. Be enthralled as Mauro takes us on musical journey.

Mauro, born in Turin, obtained his diploma in piano at the G Verdi Conservatory and then went on to further study in Madrid, Saint Petersburg and London with Francois Joel Thollier, Michael Pletnev and Jacques Loussier. He regularly collaborates with the RAI National Symphony Orchestra and participates in many tours in Europe, America and Asia, where he plays under the direction of important conductors like Claudio Abbado, Riccardo Muti and Laurin Maazel.

He has written soundtracks for TV and performed in Italy's major theatres and across the globe. He is currently working on a new album including re-imaginings of the great classics. His main shows are "Forbidden Colours", a musical voyage that explores worlds that live beyond space and time and "Piano Fantasy", another showcase of Mauro's skill and virtuosity. It is from these two shows that Mauro will delight the audience at the Cathedral.

The bar will be open and you can delight in simply giving yourself up to Mauro's undeniable skill. He's a gentle giant and will guide us through his own impressive renditions of the very best of the piano classics and more. Tissues will be provided . . .

Bradford's beautiful Cathedral is a hidden jewel waiting to be discovered. Set in tranquil gardens the Cathedral is alive with a sense of story from its thirteen centuries at the heart of the city.

This, the third church on the site, is over 500 years old, with twentieth century additions. Bradford's most ancient place of worship is friendly, peaceful and fascinating, with many special features.

We follow the House of Bishops guidance and policies and have our own Parish Safeguarding Officer(s), PSOs.
