Annual Parochial Church Meetings 2025

Occurring
for 1 hour, 30 mins
Venue
St John's, Caterham Valley
Address
Clareville Road Caterham, CR3 6LA, United Kingdom

On the 18th May we have our Annual Parish meetings. This is the time of year when we report on our
achievements in the previous year, as well as elect our Churchwardens (and deputies) and Trustees to
our PCC.

Papers for the meeting have been sent out via email, but some hard copies are also be
available at the back of Church. It would be great to see many of you at the meeting which starts at
11.45am, after the service.

If you would be interested in finding out more about being a PCC member or Churchwarden, then
please talk to Jaimee, Susan and Julie or one of the other current members of the PCC; Zoe Roberts,
Alan Cooke, Dawn Bourne, Linda Chanagasubby, Judi Saville, Sarah Hadley, Maggie Smith and Philippa
Baker. We could really do with your help.

A description of the role and nomination forms are at the back of Church so do have a read to see if
you are eligible and find two people to support your nomination.

We also have vacancies for PCC Secretary and PCC Treasurer – you don’t have to be a trustee to take
on these roles and again if you feel you could offer your help please do talk to Jaimee, Julie or Susan
ideally before the 18th May. These roles are currently being done by a Churchwarden, but this is extra
work load on top of what a Churchwarden needs to do. PLEASE DO CONSIDER if you could do one of
these roles. You don’t need to be an accountant to be Treasurer.
