The bells will 'Ring out the Old Year' from 7:00 pm until 8:00 pm (19:00 to 20:00) and after the tenor bell has struck midnight the bells will ring briefly to 'Ring in the New Year'.

In 2007, the bells were re-hung and augmented to eight (previously six) by the addition of two new bells cast at Whitechapel. One of the two new bells is dedicated to the pioneering English folk rock band, Fairport Convention. The band has close ties with the village and has held an annual Festival in the parish since 1976.
