St Mary's Church was founded in the late 12th Century by the monks of Osney Abbey. It is valued for its ancient heritage, its beauty and its calm atmosphere of dedication and contemplation. St Mary's is open for private prayer and worship.
Services tend to be traditional in nature, most using the Book of Common Prayer, please see the list of services here for more information.

Wigginton: St Giles
Welcome to St Giles' Church Wigginton. Do enjoy finding out more about our life and ministry below and how you can be part of the family.
The church of St Giles, Wigginton dates back to the 13th century and is built from local ironstone, the church is open for private prayer as well as regular worship.

Regular services are an 8am Holy Communion on the 2nd Sunday of each month and a 6pm Evensong on the 3rd Sunday, both using the Book of Common Prayer. During the winter months Evensong will be held at 4pm. We also hold a Family Service at 10am on the 4th Sunday but not every month. In addition we run regular coffee mornings on the last Friday of each month at 10:30 am. Please see the Calendar for additional services.
The mission of St Giles is to provide a Christian haven at the centre of the community, working with our sister churches, to be responsive to the spiritual needs and preferences of all those seeking spirituality, reassurance and companionship.
