St Mary Magdalene Church is the church of the parish of Wardington situated in the north eastern corner of the county of Oxfordshire and close to the county boundary with Northamptonshire.

The parish of Wardington is, in turn, one of the five parishes which make up the Benefice of Shires' Edge. The other four parishes are Claydon, Cropredy, Great Bourton and Mollington.
