Oxfordshire Historic Churches Trust (OHCT) has generously awarded £3,000 towards the new heating system.

The Parochial Church Council has decided to move ahead with the new system of under-pew heaters. We’re awaiting final permission from the Diocese, who have the application at the top of their list. Hopefully we’ll hear the outcome very shortly.

Heating is our church’s biggest running cost.

Based on the experience of other similar churches at Denchworth and Childrey, these heaters will be more effective at keeping the congregation warm and also cost considerably less to run !

Electric Heating Solutions (EHS), who specialise in church heating, have quoted £12,900 net – the church can claim back most of the VAT.

We need to raise a further £5,000 to close our funding gap.
