St Augustine's is a welcoming church with anglo-catholic origins in a busy, multi-ethnic area. The church was re-ordered in the 1980's to provide a well used community centre which offers facilities for the local community.
Although our worship generally is traditional, the church is always willing to try something different. For those who want to explore the faith, the ministry team is available to speak with you on an individual basis and anyone in church will be happy to discuss the faith with you.
The church is a listed Victorian building and is open on Saturday mornings from 10-12 for visitors, with coffee and cake often available.
If you would like to be married in St Augustine's, please just phone the vicar. You don't have to live in the parish or be part of the regular worshipping community. If you want to know if you are eligible to be married here without speaking with one of the priests, look on www.yourchurchwedding.org where you will find all the legal information about where you are entitled to marry.
St Augustine's is part of the South Croydon Benefice and is the sister church to St Peter's, Croydon.
