Please note that mid-week Holy Communion on the first Wednesday of the month has been cancelled for now. We hope to recommence when there are more people wishing to attend.

​​Please note that, going forward, the Children’s Craft Mornings will take place on the first Saturday of each month, instead of the last. The next Craft Morning will be on Saturday 3rd October. Next Men’s Breakfast is on Saturday, 19th September from 8am-9.30am (date change because of the ordination service).

‘Shared Journey’ Bereavement Group: This is open to all and is on a Saturday afternoon once a month at 2pm, but dates will vary; the next one is on 5th September at 2pm.

​​Dates for your diary:

  • Starting Tuesday 15th September: 10-week Alpha Course, ending on 17th November. A big part of Alpha is sharing a meal, and we will be asking for volunteers to prepare food for each meeting. If this is something you would like to help with, please speak to Pauline. Please also note that there will be no Lighthouse homegroup during the Alpha course.

  • Our next Fundraising Meeting is on Thursday 17th September at 7.30pm in the Prayer Room. We will be
    planning and discussing the Jumble Sale and Christmas Market. We always welcome new members and fresh ideas, so please feel free to come along and join us.

  • Saturday 26th September: Deji’s Ordination to Priesthood, in church, at 10am.

​​​​General volunteering: We really need volunteers to help out with Sunday services and in other areas of church life. See our Volunteer page on our website for more details.

Donations: We would really appreciate:

  • any donations you can make for the food bank (a list of what they need is on our Food bank page on our website
  • any raffle prizes you can donate for our fundraising events all year round
  • items for our shoeboxes - see our Shoeboxes page on our website for what we are collecting each month.
