St Nicholas Church is very much a local parish church serving the Elm Park community. The congregation are mostly Elm Park residents and local surrounding areas, there is a strong feeling of a friendly, worshiping, church community. Church members are keen for St Nicholas to be a place of holy worship, open and welcoming to all. People are encouraged to join in differing areas of church life; in worship, serving, charity work, teaching, refreshments, and much more.

The church is used not only for services but many groups meet in there. Youth, dance & singing groups meet regularly in the church.

Church life begins with Baptism, St. Nicholas welcomes anyone wishing to have their child/children baptised or if you are an adult and have never been baptised as a child then St. Nicholas would happily assist.  Please contact us for more information.

Although the trend at the moment is to hold Weddings at specific venues, should you desire a Church Wedding then maybe St. Nicholas is the venue for you.

Sunday 9.30am Holy Communion service held every week, the third Sunday service incorporates the Parade service for the Guides & Brownies, the fifth Sunday incoporates a Healing Blessing.
The church building has a light, welcoming atmosphere. Built in the 1950's but with an 'arts & crafts' feel about the design, with a beautiful use of arches and windows. We have excellent facilities, with easy access, good amplification system, church furniture which can be rearranged for concerts etc. The church hall was built in 1994 and again has excellent facilities.
There are many organisations associated with the church which include; scouts, guides, womens groups, Mothers Union, Playgroup. There are also many groups that use the hall.
