About Us

St Barnabas Church Eltham is an Anglican Parish in Eltham in South East London {part of the Diocese of Southwark}. We are a landmark site on the A205 South Circular (close to the A2 Intersection) well known to thousands of motorists travelling to and from the Woolwich Ferry.

St Barnabas is not just a landmark, but houses an active and varied Christian community with members drawn from many countries in the world. We are a diverse community seeking to worship a living God by celebrating the Christian faith together in the power of the Holy Spirit.

<span style="font-size: 1rem;">SAFEGUARDING</span>

At St Barnabas we take safeguarding seriously. Our two safeguarding officers, Lynne and Maureen, each have a professional background which means they have experience in this field and have completed diocesan training. They can be contacted via email ([email protected]) or via phone (07931-941978) or through the diocesan contacts (at the bottom of every page on this site).

If you have really urgent safeguarding concerns you can contact the local authority safeguarding team for advice, as well.
