Bring your dog. Bring the cat, if the cat consents. Bring the rabbit, the guinea pig, the budgie, the hamster - whoever shares your home. Sunday 4 October is St Francis' Day, and St Francis is the one who called the animals his brothers and sisters. So at half past nine we are giving thanks for our pets and asking God's blessing on them. If your animal would rather stay at home, bring a photograph and we will bless that instead. All creatures great and small are welcome, and their people too. There will be barking. We do not mind in the least.
