A small fellowship group who meet twice a month to pray and study or reflect together. After a break in 2023 the Home Group will restart after Easter on 15th April 2024. New members always welcome. Speak to Rev Ruth or contact Claire on 01268 757557, email [email protected] to find out more.

The 1662 BCP sung service of Evensong (hymns, psalm and canticles) and a sermon.
Please note that there will be no Evensong in December but please do come to one of our other services as we prepare for Christmas.

Our annual meetings will be held after the Sunday morning service on May 19th. Anybody living in the parish may attend and vote for Churchwardens at the short Annual Parish Meeting; anyone interested to hear what has been going on throughout the year at St. James may attend the Annual Parish Church Meeting which follows, but only those on our electoral roll may vote.

Saturday 15th June 2024 a talk on "Canvey Dutch Cottage Museum" with Alison Harris. Refreshments are served from 10:30am and the talk starts promptly at 11am.
£3 admission, payable on the door.
