Bush End: St John the Evangelist
St John the Evangelist is a small church on the edge of a very large forest! The forest was created for William the Conqueror, but the church was built for the people of the village in the mid-nineteenth century.
Today we welcome villagers, visitors and pilgrims to our little church. Please come in at any time to enjoy the peace and quiet, or join us for a Sunday service at 9am every Sunday (feast days and festivals are advertised in advance)
Our vicar, the Revd Dr Naomi Wormell, works in the parish Saturday-Tuesday and in Cambridge for the rest of the week.
Our churchwardens are Mr David Robson and Mr Martin Peachey.
