A presentation by Alex Stevenson (Jordan's Farm) Rebecca Avery (The Foraged Bouquet) and Rachael Holden (The Freckled Foxglove) on sustainable flower farming, focusing on what Alex and Rachel are doing: slow growing, local and sustainable growing etc. and seasonal flowers. Then Rebeca Avery will do some demonstrations using their flowers (e.g. a pedestal, a brides bouquet) which will be raffled off as part of the ticket price.

£10 on the door includes refreshments and a chance to win one of the arrangements.

The Thursdays are a group of local musicians who meet every week (on a Thursday, of course) to enjoy each other’s company and to play music. They have a wide range of acoustic covers, ranging from Madonna to the Bangles, ELO to 10CC, and the Moody Blues to the Corrs, as well as some of their own compositions.

There will be a bar & bar snacks, but you’re welcome to bring some of your own food.

One drink is included in the £10 entrance fee.

The event is being held at Porters Farm Barn, Hollow Road, Kelvedon, CO5 9DD on the 20th April at 7.30 p.m.

This is a non-Communion service for Beavers, Cubs and Scouts, to which everyone is welcome, not just those involved with these uniformed groups.

Sunday service ringing is usually prior to the main service from 10.25 a.m. to 10.55 a.m. but this does sometimes change. Further details of service times can be found on the main church website.

A short service at 9.30 every Wednesday morning in term time, with a story, prayers and singing, followed by refreshments and play with simple crafts.
